ALTAR GUILD
The ALTAR GUILD is a subcommittee of the Worship Committee that is responsible for all aspects of the altar and sacraments.
The Guild prepares the ALTAR AND CHANCEL with appropriate paraments and hardware for worship, and sets up Communion.
FLOWERS on the altar are given by members who sign up on the Worship bulletin board for selected Sundays. Flowers are then ordered and placed on the altar.
A volunteer of the Guild embroiders BAPTISM NAPKINS of fine linen as a special gift to newly-baptized members.
Special CANDLES and CERTIFICATES are prepared for Baptisms, First Communions, and Confirmation.
The Guild also provides appropriate BANNERS for seasonal services and are responsible for changing these banners.
